A full plate of hump day football on tap for you

It’s a non Champions League Wednesday and yet there are quite a few quality matches in the queue for today.

First, in my second favorite league in the world, there are two King’s Cup matches today. For those of you who don’t know, the Copa del Rey is sort of an FA Cup style tournament that’s been around since 1902.

At 2:00pm est., it’s Valencia v Racing
At 4:00pm est., it’s Barcelona v Atletico Madrid

And now for my favorite league in the world, there is a mixed bag of English football:

At 2:45pm est, Hull take on Newcastle in an FA Cup 3rd round replay to see who will move on to the last 32.
The other FA Cup match today is between Chelsea and Southend United, kick off on that one is at 3:00pm est.

And finally, in regular league action, it’s Manchester United v. Wigan also kicking off at 3:00pm est..

For those interested in discussing real time, your official Match Day discussion threads are waiting to be started over in the forums.
