Cobb Futbol Club has been looking across the pond for their coaching talent and appear to be making some impressive progress.
The Cobb County, Georgia amateur club has officially announced the arrival of Gareth Evans as the new Boys Academy Director. Gareth is joining Cobb FC from the storied Liverpool Football Club in England, where he played alongside England internationals Michael Owen and current Liverpool FC Captain Steven Gerrard.
Gareth had been Liverpool Academy’s U6-U8 and U9-U14 coach since 2000 and he brings to Cobb County soccer his experience as a UEFA Licensed Coach, as well as 18 years of combined playing and coaching experience with Liverpool.
