For those of you who were able to tune in or even better, show up, at the US Open Cup third round match ups, you were treated to some great football.
Two USL First Division sides, Seattle Sounders and Charleston Battery upset their MLS opponents and, in what is perhaps the upset of the tournament so far, USL Second Division side, Crystal Palace Baltimore knocked the NY Red Bulls out of cup contention.
After last night's action, the quarterfinal pairings are set:
New England Revolution vs. Crystal Palace Baltimore
DC United vs. Chicago Fire
FC Dallas vs. Charleston Battery
Kansas City Wizards vs. Seattle Sounders
