The Silverbacks return to league play tonight after a couple of hard fought losses against Western Hemisphere powerhouses.
The Backs hosted Mexican first division side Pachuca C.F., who are currently battling for a spot in the 2008 SuperLiga semis, and Argentinean first division club Atletico Independiente.
They fell to both of those quality teams in close matches, but I'm betting the opportunity to play against that caliber of club will pay long term dividends for the Silverbacks.
Tonight, the Backs take on the Portland Timbers at Silverbacks Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:55PM.
